Pray Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Nephilim, LLC handles information related to the Pray iPhone app and this website.
Overview
Pray is designed to work without creating an account. The app stores core habit and lock-state information on your device so it can track your reading progress, streaks, selected Screen Time lock targets, and reminder preferences.
Information Pray Uses
- Reading progress and streak data. Pray stores your completed reading days on your device so the app can show streaks, recaps, and unlock state.
- Screen Time selections. If you choose apps, categories, or websites to lock, Pray stores that selection on your device so the read gate can be applied.
- Reminder preferences. If you enable reminders, Pray stores your chosen reminder times on your device and schedules local notifications through Apple.
- Camera or photo access. If you choose the scanner flow, Pray may request access to your camera or photo library to let you capture or select an image of Bible text.
- Subscription and purchase status. Purchases are processed by Apple. Subscription catalog and entitlement status are managed through RevenueCat so Pray can determine whether your Pray Pro entitlement is active.
Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect
Pray does not require you to create a user account, and Nephilim, LLC does not operate a custom Pray backend that stores your reading history. Based on the current app implementation, Pray does not include a separate analytics SDK such as Firebase, Amplitude, or Mixpanel.
Third-Party Services
Pray depends on Apple services for app distribution, subscriptions, payments, local notifications, and Screen Time authorization. Pray also uses RevenueCat to manage in-app purchase products and subscription entitlement state. Those providers may process information according to their own terms and privacy policies.
How Your Information Is Used
The information described above is used only to operate Pray, including:
- tracking whether you completed today's reading
- maintaining your streak and recap views
- applying or clearing selected Screen Time restrictions
- scheduling reminder notifications you request
- confirming whether your subscription entitlement is active
Website Privacy
This website does not collect personal information through forms. If you contact Nephilim, LLC by email, your message is used only to respond to your inquiry.
Your Choices
- You can disable notifications in iOS Settings at any time.
- You can revoke camera or photo permissions in iOS Settings at any time.
- You can change or clear selected Screen Time lock targets inside Pray or in iOS settings.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID subscription settings.
